Dr. Daniel Stahl - Lead Pastor

Background:

 

     In 1980, God led Daniel to the Brandon, Florida area to minister to students at Bell Shoals Baptist Church and work with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Since that time he has had the awesome opportunity and privilege to start and lead two new churches and serve as a staff member at two other churches in Eastern HIllsborough County.  Almost 33 years later (gulp!), his desire is to follow the leading and prompting of the Holy Spirit by launching The Palms Community Church, his third new church plant in the eastern Hillsborough County Area.

 

     He has surrendered his life to the Lordship of Jesus Christ and wants to allow the spiritual gifts that have been given to him to be used in the most productive way possible for God's Kingdom.  "But my life is worth nothing unless I use it for doing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus - the work of telling others the Good News about God's wonderful kindness and love." (Acts 20:24 NLT)

Personal:

 

Pastor Daniel was born in Leitchfield, KY and graduated from Western Kentucky University. He later attained his Master's degree at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and continued his education through Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, CA. where he received his Doctorate of Ministry degree.

 

Daniel enjoys spending his time traveling, visiting with family and friends, the beach, golfing, and watching sporting events.  He has four children, a step son, and seven grandchildren.  His favorite movies include:  Jason Bourne series, Braveheart, Gladiator, Count of Monte Cristo, and That Thing You Do!  His three most influential books are:  Seven Habits of Highly Effective People by Steven Covey, The Normal Christian LIfe by Watchman Nee, and Halftime by Bob Buford.
